Tutor Mode adds helpful guidance to your conversation. The tutor may explain grammar and/or suggest corrections. Turn it on or off at any time using the checkbox.
A1 Mode slows down the tutor’s spoken language to beginner-friendly pacing. You can adjust the delay using the A1 Delay slider. This mode is ideal for early learners who need extra time to process speech.
The playback control lets you replay the last thing the tutor said. Use it when you want to hear the tutor’s response again without asking for a repeat or generating new audio.
This is helpful for reviewing pronunciation, catching details you may have missed, or practicing listening comprehension.
Tutor First Mode makes the tutor speak first in each exchange. With this option selected, then select 'New Chat' to have the tutor start the conversation. This helps you practice responding to prompts rather than initiating them.
Show Times displays how long it took you to respond after the tutor finished speaking. It measures the delay between the end of the tutor’s audio and the moment you begin your reply.
Use this to spot slow points in your practice, see where you paused, and understand the pacing of the session.
Hide Text removes the tutor’s written transcript so you can focus on listening. Turn it off anytime to reveal the text again.
Use the Playback Speed dropdown to adjust how fast the audio plays. This affects the browser’s audio playback, not the tutor’s speaking speed.
Press the Copy button to copy the entire conversation to your clipboard. You can paste it into notes, another AI for review, documents, or anywhere you want to save your progress.
